By train
SBB (Swiss Federal Railway) Basel-Bern-Visp-Brig, Zürich-Lucerne-Göschenen, Geneva-Lausanne-Sion-Visp-Brig. Connection to the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (MGB) to the Goms from Göschenen and from Visp/Brig. Bus connection from Fiesch to Fieschertal.

By car
The passes Grimsel (north connection: Basel-Bern-Grimsel), Nufenen (south connection: Bellinzona-Airolo-Nufenen) and Furka (east connection: Zürich-Schwyz-Andermatt-Realp-Furka) are open during the summer months. The car train stations Furka (Realp-Oberwald), Lötschberg (Kandersteg-Goppenstein) and Simplon(Iselle-Brig) are open all year around.
